Stuff we use:
CAMERA – This is the camera we have used to film 90+% of our interviews (over 200 interviews and counting) It continues to be our workhorse – http://amzn.to/2u66V1J
LENS – Most people ask us what camera we use, no one ever asks about the lens which filmmakers always tell us is more important. This lens was a big investment for us and one we wish we could have made sooner. Started using this lens at the end of 2013 – http://amzn.to/2tbtmOq
AUDIO
Rode VideoMic Pro – The Rode mic helps us capture our backup audio. It also helps us sync up our audio in post http://amzn.to/2t1n2hx
Audio Recorder – If we had to do it all over again, this is probably the first item we would have bought – http://amzn.to/2tbFlM9
LIGHTS – Although we like to use as much natural light as we can, we often enhance the lighting with this small portable light. We have two of them and they have saved us a number of times – http://amzn.to/2u5UnHv
COMPUTER – Our favorite computer, we each have one and have used various models since 2010 – http://amzn.to/2t1M67Z
EDITING – We upgraded our editing suite this year and we’re glad we did! This has improved our workflow and the quality of our work. Having new software also helps when we have a problem, it’s easy to search and find a solution – https://goo.gl/56LnpM

I'm thinking of doing a crowd campaign campaign this was very helpful
Hahaha! Great video, thanks
She seems SOOOOooooo condesending.
This is a really useful perspective!
Really great information. And the fact that it's out of focus proves the point in a dramatic way.
true
lol, she speaks the truth and gives valid points! she's quite funny too!!
Ha, 100% true. I've been waiting for someone to make this point. It's so lame. Why are they – telling – us about their film, and not showing us??
Please call me… Your hired… Gary
Yo. I love her.
Valley girl overload
I LOVE THIS. You've just helped me to avoid making this kind of video.
I immediately (from the look on her face one micro second before answering) realized that she is in love with giving opportunity….. and then people blow it all to hell. ! Best training video ever.
This is so hysterical & so SO true!
I really like this chick. Very smart and cute but she probably hates men IRL so that sucks
Harsh but fair points!
Luv Her!!! This gal is BRUTAL and deservedly so!!! 😂🤣😅
I agree, there are too many rubbish movies! Get a proper job would be actors, you’re no good! That’s why you're not in real movies
She is dead-on correct! First of all i'm not sure why they call it crowd funding, it should have been called friend funding, because without your friends on Facebook to launch the campaign, your going to raise zero! Do a little experiment for yourself and I will prove this to you. Put together your sales pitch to raise money for your Indie film. Go ahead and launch that experimental campaign on kickstarter, but DO NOT include your Facebook, twitter or other social media sites you are associated with. I would be amazed if you could raise $100 within 30 days without utilizing your social media contacts. I don't believe there are people surfing kickstarter in the masses looking to invest their money into Indie films. There is one exception, if you are making a documentary that directly affects that persons life, like a particular health problem, human rights, or animal rights type of film. Those types of films could trigger someone to give to support your project… it has to trigger an emotion!
She's unhinged.
