In the 80's, in New York City I
shared office space in SoHo
with Tony Robbins during the Whole Life Expo development. I was the float guide at Tranquility Tanks, a floatation and sensory deprivation business. He was kind and energetic. He patiently answered all my questions re: firewalking, and helped me find my courage to walk it. I secretly named our floor "Fire and Water" after that. It is no suprise how successful he has become!

He's a con artist and uses high arousal rituals at his seminars to tie people to him emotionally, so that they'll show up at yet another ridiculously overpriced seminar and buy his products, as well as rave about him to all their family and friends and tell them to go to a seminar too. His outrageously overpriced supplements contain the same or similar ingredients than regular supplement products from good brands, that are a fraction of the price he is charging. Do your research, as there's quite a bit of stuff online and on you tube about him that shows other sides to him, than the guy who has been trained to be charming when he meets you in person. Of course he's going to do that. He might be a con artist, but he's not an idiot.
Tony sells motivation, and quite frankly , motivation has value

wanted to share that I have followed tony for a long time and with out him I probably would have died , I was so depressed and tried to take my life and he helped me see life differently
he teaches a lot of common sense and I say that with respect, lot of people need it

Amazing what you can achieve when you’re 6’ 7”. I have four friends who range from 6’ 4” to 6’ 7” and it’s amazing how positively people automatically respond to them vs myself (5’ 7”). Definitely a very talented man in his profession though.
