About the supporting merchandise, I have ideas for making wall art of the Maps of the world my story takes place. but all the print on demand services i am looking at charge way more for the product + shipping than i think is worth it. By that i mean, if the poster + shipping is $35 then in order for me to have the reward perk listed so that i can actually use the money to help fund the costs, i will have to set the perk cost to like 50 bucks.
is there a better way to do this so that the reward is more cost effective? charging the back more for a poster or a puzzle than the actual book, feels like a scam

Whoever asked the question about Amazon. You would do KDP AND a Kickstarter. Kickstarter gets the money in your hands right away but Amazon keeps it selling.
