In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a programme of local, self-organised events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organised events are branded TEDx, where x=independently organised TED event. I feel well prepared to find our 500€ short (not really, my god where's that money gonna come from?!).
Thank you for this video :).
On the watch here! Still good.
I broke one of the rules and unfortunately I think it but me.
However, we are regrouping and I’m going to go it again. Shorter video, few other tweaks
Soft Launch will never work here in SA. lol
"your friends and family will be the first people to contribute"
yeah… I have neither :/
Copy That
We're from Asia so how should we create a campaign on Indiegogo or Kickstarter ?
We're trying to set a goal of 1500$ for our science fiction short film on indie gogo. But we don't have any known person who can donate. Can it be funded just by the external audience and visitors of Indiegogo ?
What can be some perks if your target people live in other countries and you can't ship them stuff
Hi everyone, I am producing a student film at my university. We are in the needs of funds, I would like to kindly ask if you can make any donation. My crew and I will greatly appreciate your help! https://www.gofundme.com/f/trippin-thesis-project-2020?utm_source=customer&utm_medium=copy_link-tip&utm_campaign=p_cp+share-sheet
Hey great video, thanks! The hardest part for me is the #1, building an audience. (I'm not a filmmaker tho.) I swear I have 3 gorgeous funny cats but I can't even post about them on social media. It's like, I'd like to have this ideal profile, but I can't take pics that are that good so I won't post anything until then. Every few months I try and post something I think it's good but that's obviously wrong. I've known forever I must do it but I just don't know what I'd like to post D: I work at a home office in building my platform all day long. The only interesting things I think are ideas to implement, other biz ideas, or stuff unrelated to the audience I'd have to build, like about rap music and my audience are parents. Help
this is wonderful! I'm now following you on all the platforms. Grazie!
Thanks for all the tips man. What are your thoughts on a multistage approach?
So I want to crowdfund to raise money to have the time to flesh out my doco web series, and also want to build a starting audience for the show.
But then want to do a second round to either raise up front capital or ongoing through Patreon.
Thoughts?
😀🕺🏻🎥🏖🇦🇺
I don't have enough friends/any that could help or rich enough or big enough family that could contribute beyond maybe 100-200. I wonder what the solution for that is.
I've been shooting all the parts that I can entirely myself (although the screenplay isn't finished yet I still know important scenes) so that should reduce the overall need for crew and costs when the time comes to start seeking funds.
I wonder if crowdfunding is still viable in 2019. Can anyone tell me? I see a bunch of movies on there that don't raise enough unless everyone is working for zero (yet with added costs of perks etc).
Great video! I could listen to this for hours. I really want to crowdfund a $3000 fan film. The only problem is I don’t know anybody that would donate that much money. My family’s great, but I’d only see them donating $20 if they were feeling nice. Maybe I’m wrong. Would you recommend indiegogo or Kickstarter? Great video!
Damn that video gave me so much fuego!!!
This is so incredibly helpful and invaluable. Thank you so much.
I've asked all of my friends and family members. No one wants to help but my sister but she doesn't have money to spare.
You are one cool cat Mr Trigonis.
