I backed Arydia and Mythic Mischief in this set. I'm still excited for Arydia. Mythic I've received and so far think it's a pretty good game – best abstract I've played. Only 1v1 so far but I've seen positive feedback on 2v2 and solo as well. Flamecraft I'm looking at as a retail version after it releases.

  2. Christopher loves the METS

Put of these I only backed arydia.
I’m currently playing chronicals of Drunagor and about to play dungeon universalis.

  3. This Nerdy Life

I'm still just as excited about receiving Flamecraft as I was when I backed it. 😍 Love the art and with a range of players from ages 13-45, I think it will be played a lot in our home.

Wild Serengeti…no, don't waste your money and time.

    What is a Folk….orgh!!!??

Arydia – $1 back, didnt follow up. Only regret is not backing due to the hell that the family is going through.
Tempted by galzyr but didnt back and also no regrets. Although reviews coming in seem to like it. Will they still like it a year from now?
Legend academy – was put off a bit by the Alex/quackalope stuff (overhyping) Blmore than anything else, but dont need more multi-scenario type games right now.
Black Rose wars – Sator box is insane, but solo is pretty bad. Its a long game, but it is a really fun game Chris with the right group. So many different paths to win. I'm in the same camp as you – happy to play any time, wont be buying.

Was on the fence about Arydia when it was announced but now in hindsight so glad I didn’t back, don’t feel any hype for it anymore, kinda like most things after some time has passed. Still waiting on a few other KS games but for most of them I don’t really feel excited about them. I almost rather prefer they be delayed so that they won’t clog up my shelf.

I backed Mythic Mischief and it just delivered recently. So far I really regret backing it. Feels much more shallow than I had hoped and the "puzzle" it presents just isn't that satisfying or fun. I need to play it a little more, but so far…🦨

Dwellings of Eldervale was done by Breaking Games, not Cardboard Alchemy. Peter Vaughn, who is part of Cardboard Alchemy, was involved with Dwellings of Eldervale, but yea, different publisher. Breaking Games has done a terrible job with Dwellings both marketing and delivering/making it available. Hopefully the Dwellings successor, Andromeda's Edge, doesn't suffer the same fate given that Cardboard Alchemy is handling that one.

I backed Hildegard because I really liked the art and the concept intrigued me. I ended up finding a copy of Spire End a few months later and have done one play-through with my wife. It was really fun and am now looking forward to the arrival of Hildegard. I think this is one of the few games that I might try playing solo.

Black Rose War looks way cooler then it is in my sense… but it looks really really cool so that's why it's tempting but ultimately not worth it. Plus I hate how they copy IP (maybe borderline) and have so many campaigns going. Also, don't really like how the BRW to BRWR evolution was handled. Almost the same game made again but slightly better… would really make me regret back BRW.

Feel the same way about gamefound. Also pledged 1$ for Aryrdia and did not upgrade for the same reasons. Happy didn't pledge for higher value. I did get Spire's end – looks light and beautiful

I love these "look back" videos, keep them up! Thanks

My most anticipated game is Primal: The Awakening, not close. Others I’m waiting on:

Hexplore It: Domain of Mirza Noctis —This will be my first Hexplore It game. The system looks good, it’s well rated/loved, and I don’t have any hex crawls in my (small) collection.

Ironsworn: Starforged — This will be my first true solo RPG

Quest for the Lost Pixel expansion (Deities of Time) — Little known rogue like Gamecrafter game.

Western Legends Big Box — This is the Sandbox game that has stuck with me. And it’s in a theme unlike anything else in my collection. Big Box should close out the game and I can call it complete.

League of Dungeoneers — Very small Kickstarter game. Pure dungeon crawling without the gimmicks. Sounds good to me.

I originally passed on Arydia during the campaign. I ended up late pledging for it. I’m not expecting too much out of it. It it’s a video game in a board game form, and if I can get through the campaign once, I think I’ll be happy.

Your harshness on Arydia and clueless awareness of the situation with the designer's son, who is fighting cancer was the last straw for me. Immediate Unsub. Have a nice life.

I backed Mythic Mischief. Then I went back and late backed Flamecraft. Looking forward to that one – as it will be (relatively) easy to teach to my folks. I also just went back and late backed the All-In for Black Rose Wars: Rebirth. I just couldn't let that game go. But I probably should have just gone with the core game only – but mentally I had planned for the expense.

In addition, I am debating whether I want to late back Legend Academy. I am not sure. I like the card crafting mechanism, the character trait-building and the fairy tale theme. I will have to look at some gameplay videos to decide.
